About Dr. Nader Attalla, MD.

I am Dr. Nader Attalla, an Addiction Medicine and Family Medicine Specialist, practicing in Calgary, Alberta Canada. In 2006, I graduated from medical school in Egypt and I have previously worked as a psychiatrist after completing my residency program in Egypt.

In 2013 I moved to Canada and continued my medical education in the field of addiction medicine and family medicine. I am also a clinical lecturer at the University of Calgary and teach medical students and residents how to address a patient's physical, psychological and spiritual needs.

Through my experience in general and psychiatric medicine, I have realized that it is beneficial for people to become more aware of their physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs as health is a state of complete physical, social, mental and spiritual well-being. I have made it my mission to share knowledge and experience with everyone through social media in order to raise awareness of physical, mental and spiritual health.

I have created a program, called The Soul Program, to help patients struggling with psychological problems and addiction. Through this page, I will share some recovery messages and online videos to help users in their recovery.
